Network – explained

Bringing local business together so they can do business with each other.

The Godalming Business Network is fantastic opportunity for local business-to-business networking. Godalming has a surprisingly large number of businesses and the Business Network has been specifically developed to give them a chance to get to know each other, to encourage people to trade locally and to provide an opportunity for increasing leads and opportunities.

Chair of the Godalming Chamber of Commerce
The Godalming & District Chamber of Commerce was re-launched in January 2009 and exists to represent the voice of business locally, interacting with Town and Borough councils to provide a link between local authorities and the business community. It also provides a forum for local networking and gives an opportunity for local businesses to work together for the greater good of the town, running events and promotions to increase and improve the local economy.

Recognising that local town Chambers have often been perceived as having a strong retail focus, The Godalming Business Network has been launched as the unique opportunity for some of the 1000+ non-retail businesses based in the GU7 and GU8 postcodes to meet and network, with a sole purpose – to identify new business opportunities and increase local trade.
